A simple guide to some of the current discounts on offer in Amsterdam
Everyone likes a bargain or money off. We are no different, so if you can get to experience Amsterdam for a little less then we are all for it. On this page we have collated the current offers that can be found on some of the tours or attractions in Amsterdam. We’ve selected offers with good reviews and that run for a little while, at the bottom of the page is a lovely day trip featuring cheese, clogs and windmills, but being honest most of the current offers are connected to the canal cruises and combination tickets, so a canal cruise and entry to a museum ticket for example.
Canal cruises are one of, if not the most popular thing to do in Amsterdam, which makes any saving worthwhile.

Discounted Canal cruises in Amsterdam
You’ll find these popular cruises offer between 10 and 35% off ticket prices. The 35% is off the City Canal Cruise. Discounts can be found on combination tickets too, which means getting entry to a museum or attraction plus a canal cruise ticket. Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Moco Museum are particularly good combinations.
An incredibly popular canal cruise is the one hour canal cruise run on Lovers orange and black boat (you can’t miss it) You can use your smartphone as the ticket too.
Discounted day trip to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam & Marken
This is a very popular day trip from Amsterdam. It focuses on cheese, clogs and windmills, so is pretty much up most visitor’s streets when it comes to thinking about Holland.
This tour is not a cliche though, you’ll visit Zannes Schans to see the stunning windmills and see crafts people at work, including a wooden shoe factory. Then it is off to Edam, a beautiful and quaint town and see how the famous cheese is actually made on an old farm. Volendam is up next, a gorgeous traditional fishing village and finally Marken.
All in all, a day trip you’ll always remember.
Bring a camera and immerse yourself in traditional Amsterdam.
